Our journey started in 2008. Whilst on a visit to see friends in the UK I saw some beautiful heart shaped pendants around my girlfriend's neck. I didn't appreciate straight away what they were and once my friend explained that they were her son's fingerprints I was absolutely blown away. I had never seen anything like them before! I knew I had to have some with my son and daughters fingerprints so once I returned home I started doing some research and found that the pendants weren't available in Christchurch.  This was the start our our wonderful journey! one thing led to another and all these years later I am still loving creating these precious keepsakes,  I now have the help of Megan and Carolyn and together we help families capture precious memories to treasure forever in these precious keepsakes.   Fingerprint Memories has grown and changed so much since those early years, it started as a concept to capture children and babies fingerprint, hand and footprints, added to that handwriting and artwork, capturing all those special moments you have when your children are growing - super precious moments I'm sure you will agree!.

When the earthquake hit Christchurch in February 2011 our world like everyone who was in Christchurch at that time changed forever.  Sadly, very close friends of ours lost their son. Wanting to help them in every way we could, we offered to create some pendants, each one touched by their son as a lasting keepsake. As hard as it was, I felt extremely privileged that I could create something so precious for our lovely friends (which they were so grateful for and treasure to this day). The amazing team at Lamb and Hayward cared for our friends and they saw the value of our pendants to families in their care. Since those first pendants I have been privileged and proud to work with a wonderful team of compassionate people to create many precious keepsakes for families who have lost someone they love.   

We are now proud to work with many organization's throughout New Zealand in the memorial sector and also still continue to make many happy keepsakes, capturing wonderful memories and milestones.   I am so thankful to have an amazing team working with me and we are  committed to continue creating fingerprint memories for any family who would like a precious keepsake piece of jewellery.
